Two unrelated Audi recalls have been issued already by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Volkswagen Group. Lets look at the recalls one by one:
About 3,594 Audi S6 and S7 models are being recalled. The cars are of 2013-2014 model years. The affected cars are equipped with 4.0-liter engines. The problem with the affected automobiles is that the engines may leak fuel thus causing a fire.
In another recall, the automaker is calling back about 1,120 A8 and S8 models of 2013-2014 model years. The vehicles are being recalled due to the glass sunroof that may break. The broken pieces of glass may injure the passengers or they may distract the drivers attention if the break during the drive.
The automaker said it is unaware of any crashes or accidents caused by either of the defects. However, the automaker will soon start notifying the owners about both recalls and the dealers will replace the fuel lines and the sunroof glasses at no cost to the owners.
