Tiny Recall by BMW

Just three cars are affected by the BMW X3 recall.

The BMW X3 recall affects only three vehicles. The recall involves model year 2013 BMW X3 xDrive 28i and xDrive 35i models. The affected vehicles were manufactured between February 11, 2013 and February 27, 2013. All three vehicles are being recalled in the United States by the BMW of North America, LLC (BMW). This recall is one of the smallest recalls ever.

The problem with the affected vehicles is that the tear seam on the instrument panel was not manufactured properly. According to the report made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the problem may become an obstacle for airbag deployment.

The automaker has already notified the owners about the recall. The dealers will replace the instrumental panel for free. If you are a BMW owner, you can get more information about the BMW X3 recall at 1-800-525-7417.
