Mustang Fastback from 1969 Reborned by Retrobuild

If a car is a true muscle car then this is definitely the Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback from 1969. This car is in good original condition and is still quite difficult to find.

However, the U.S. company Retrobuilt found a way to revived somehow at least the spirit of the legendary Ford coupe redesigning it in retro style brand new Ford Mustang GT. The transformation was more than successful. Retrobuilt Mustang Fastback from the 2012th launches new 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 420 horsepower and is more powerful in acceleration than the original: up to 100 km / h sprint in 4.3 seconds (previously 5.7 seconds).

To make the new model more resembled a famous ancestor were required already 40 years numerous modifications to the bodywork, and was amended on almost anything – from a completely new front end, rear end and all the details like the rearview mirror. The interior, on the other hand remained almost identical to the new model. Colleagues from Autoblog had the chance to try it and were more than impressed by this incredible historic reincarnation muscle emperor.
