Lamborghini and Bentley recalling about 1,136 Cars

More than 1000 cars are included in this new Lamborghini and Bentley recall.

This new Lamborghini and Bentley recall affects more than 1000 vehicles. Affected are Bentley Continental GT, Continental GTC convertible and Continental Flying Spur sedans of 2007-2011 model years, Lamborghini Gallardo coupes, Spyder and Super Leggera vehicles of 2007-2009 model years, Murcielago coupes and Roadsters of 2006-2010 model years.

Thus, a total of 730 vehicles are being recalled in the US. The vehicles are being recalled due to an issue connected with the carbon ceramic brake rotors. The thing is that the stainless steel screws holding the brake rotors may fall out. If more than eight of a rotor’s 10 screws fail, the vehicles may undergo a crash.

According to Lamborghini, its Gallardo has lost only three of its screws. Also, the automaker is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the defect.

Both automakers will notify their consumers about the recall via certified mail. The dealers will fix the affected cars free of charge. Affected owners can contact Bentley at 1-800-777-6923 and Lamborghini at 1-866-681-6276 for more information on Lamborghini and Bentley recall.
