The new Novitec Torado Aventador with 700 HP and Forged Wheels

Novitec Torado has unveiled their first upgrade program and it’s for the Lamborghini Aventador. The new upgrade program includes more power, carbon fiber aerodynamics, forged wheels, and more.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 has been incredibly successful since it was first unveiled as the successor of the Murcielago. The Italian company invested heavily in new technology to reduce weight along with an all-new drivetrain to ensure the Aventador was at the forefront of performance and style. This has lead many aftermarket companies to create upgrade programs for the super car, and now the Novitec team is jumping on the wagon with a new upgrade program from their newly-created branch – Novitec Torado. The new Novitec Torado Lamborghini Aventador is packed with googies including engine tuning, chassis modifications, forged wheels, and aerodynamic body work that ensure it is unique, fast, and a very special super car.

One of the first things that the team at Novitec Tridente in Germany began to modify was the all-new 6.5-liter V-12 naturally aspirated engine that cranks out quite an impressive amount of power in stock form. The team developed a Stage One tuning program that modifies the engine’s ECU with new fuel, ignition, timing, and other parameters. Two different exhaust systems made from either stainless steel or lightweight ICONEL can help save up to 26 kg for better overall performance and sound. After the two upgrades, a total of 700 bhp is sent to all four of the forged wheels. In the future, the German aftermarket tuning company will be offering a twin-turbocharger upgrade for the 6.5-liter V-12 for even more performance.

The Italian super car was capable of greater performance in terms of acceleration and top speed after the engine tuning, so the Novitec Torado engineers had to create a new body kit that would aid in cooling and high speed stability to accommodate the performance. They installed a new front spoiler lip set with central blade and larger intakes along with vents at the hood. A set of carbon fiber side mirrors and lower side skirts sit between the new set of forged wheels. A large air intake sits at the rear fender while two types of rear spoiler wings and diffuser sets are available to allow customers to choose how much downforce they want.

With the engine and aerodynamics honed in for performance, the Novitec Torado team had to modify the Lamborghini Aventador’s chassis. Here, they created a custom suspension upgrade that includes height-adjustable dampers that allows drivers to set the ride height for performance or style. As an option, customers can choose lowered sport springs for a more dynamic ride. The factory rim and tire setup was removed in place of a new set of three-piece forged wheels that measure 9J x 20 up front and a staggered 13J x 21 at the rear for a more muscular stance.
