According to latest automobile industry news, Kia Motors Corp. Is considering to expand their GT model program.

The sources close to Kia state that the plan depends fully on the success Kia will achieve with its new pro_cee’d GT hot hatchback, which was just recently launched in the UK, Germany, Austria and other countries in Europe.

The word is that if Kia’s hot hatchback gets well received, the carmaker could spread the GT range by introducing a smaller Rio GT and larger Optima GT midsize sedan.

There’s also no reason why the GT badge wouldn’t appear in the States and Canada, so Kia could also launch a Forte-based GT model in the USA.

One of the latest rumors spreading fast over the web was also related to the Kia pro_cee’d GT cabrio.

A fan site Kia-World.net reported that the South Korean carmaker could also bring a pro_cee’d GT cabrio to the market.

This is, however, only a speculation at this point.

The topless version of the striking Kia pro_cee’d has also been rendered.
