One of the more popular Aston Martin models as of recent has been the V12 Vantage lineup. Its powerful twelve cylinder engine and classic British styling has helped make it a favorite among automotive enthusiasts across the world, even going as far as to be featured in movies like James Bond. As the model lineup begins to evolve, the team at Aston Martin has decided to remove the standard V12 Vantage model from the lineup and replace it with the new and improved, updated V12 Vantage S. The new super car features a more powerful engine, forged wheels, updated styling, and other new technology.

Under the hood of the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is a naturally aspirated AM28 6.0-liter V-12 engine that boasts some advanced technology such as CNC milled combustion chambers and hollow cam shafts. The new engine is capable of sending a total of 565 hp) at 6,750 RPM and 457 lb-ft. of torque at 5,750 RPM to both of the rear forged wheels, and allowing for a top speed that is said to be close to 205 mph. Even the exhaust is impressive as it is modeled after the new, limited production Aston Martin One-77 hyper car, and gives off a classic note. The exhaust is also lighter than the outgoing model and helps to improve overall performance.

The new V-12 engine sends all of its 565 bhp to the rear forged wheels through a new, advanced seven-speed automated manual transmission mounted at the rear of the super car. The V12 Vantage S’s new Sportshift™ llI transmission features a lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft and limited slip differential, and the ability to shift gears with minimal interruption of power. Drivers can select the different gears manually at the push of the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and incorporated different shift programs depending on the ride settings.

The entire exterior of the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S wears new design cues that are borrowed from the CC100 Speedster Concept car that was recently unveiled. The classic lines with small figure, sleek shape, and extended wheel arches are still present on the Aston Martin super car and will easily attract fans of the brand. New design cues such as the front grille and graphics package differentiate it from the outgoing model along with 19- and 20-inch ten spoke lightweight forged wheels.

Inside, customers will have an array of options to create their own custom cockpit. A range of alcantara and leather finishes with different seating options and trim sets can be installed at the Aston Martin factory.
