Suzuki Kizashi Recall

Model-years 2010-2013 Suzuki Kizashi sedans are affected by the new Suzuki Kizashi recall. The affected vehicles were all manufactured between October 2009 and July 2012.

The problem affecting these sedans is that spiders may weave a web in the evaporative canister vent hose, this way blocking it and most probably leading to the appearance of excessive negative pressure. If this situation occurs, the fuel tank may break and may leak fuel, increasing car fire hazards. It should be noted that this problem has occurred not only to Suzuki vehicles, but also certain Mazda, Honda and Hyundai vehicles.

The automaker started notifying all affected owners in August, this year. The dealers will replace the evaporative canister vent line with an altered one. In certain cases the fuel tank may also be replaced. The repair work will be completed at no charge to the owners. If you are a 2010-2013 Suzuki Kizashi owner, you can contact the automaker at 800-934-0934 for more information about Suzuki Kizashi recall.
