Hyundai Santa Fe Recall

Hyundai Santa Fe recall involves nearly 225,000 vehicles. Affected by the recall are model-years 2001-2006 crossovers. The vehicles were manufactured between March 31, 2000, and February 15, 2006. These cars are currently driven in states like the District of Columbia: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The thing is that the aforementioned crossovers may undergo corrosion due to road salt. The coil spring may contact with the tire, as a result of that, increasing the risk of a collision.

Hyundai owners will be notified starting with September, 2014. The dealers will inspect the cars and fix them at no charge to the owners. You can contact Hyundai at 800-633-5151 for more information about the Hyundai Santa Fe recall.
