1.9 million more Graco infant-safety seats are now under recall. The affected child seats are added to the previous 4.2 million units. The child seats were all built between July 2010 and May 2013. The models affected are the following:

  • SnugRide and SnugRide Classic Connect built between March 1, 2011, and May 31, 2013
  • SnugRide 30 and SnugRide Classic Connect 30 manufactured between July 1, 2010, and Jan. 31, 2013
  • SnugRide 35 and SnugRide Classic Connect 35 built between May 1, 2011, and Jan. 31, 2013
  • SnugRide Click Connect 40 manufactured between June 1, 2012, and Dec. 31, 2012
  • Aprica A30 built between July 1, 2011, and April 30, 2012

The problem with the aforementioned infant seats is that the harness buckle may become hard to unlatch or can be stuck in the latched position.

The manufacturer will fix all the affected units. Free replacement buckles will be provided to the affected owners. Owners of Graco infant-safety seats may contact Graco at 800-345-4109 for more information about the recall.
