Lexus GS 350 recall

More than 10,400 vehicles are affected by this new Lexus GS 350 recall. You may have already guessed that Lexus GS 350 vehicles are being recalled. Affected are specifically model-year 2013 sedans that were manufactured in the year 2012, between June and December.

A report made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the problem with the affected vehicles is connected with the brake pedal. The thing is that the switch that senses the amount of pressure that the driver is applying to the braking pedal may fail to operate. As a result of this, the vehicle may brake without driver hitting the brake pedal or the brake lights illuminating. The condition may pose a safety hazard. It should be noted, however that the automaker is not aware of any crashes or injuries related to the issue.

Owners will be notified about Lexus GS 350 recall by the end of this month. However, replacement parts are not ready yet. So the automaker will notify affected owners for the second time, as soon as the parts are available. Owners with questions may contact Toyota at 800-331-4331 for more information.
