Over 1000 vehicles are affected by Honda Fit recall. Involved in the recall are model-year 2013 Honda Fit hatchback vehicles that were built May 24 through July 5 of the year 2013. The hatchbacks are equipped with a manual transmission.
Honda is recalling these vehicles due to a manufacturing error that may make the vehicle lose power and stop, increasing the risk of a collision. The problem is that the occupant-side driveshaft may break.
The automaker will notify its customer by July 15, 2014. Dealers will inspect the cars and replace the defective part with a new one free of charge. Concerned owners can contact the manufacturer at 800-999-1009 for more information about Honda Fit recall.
