Nearly 1,644 Nissan Rogue crossovers are affected by Nissan Rogue recall. These crossovers are all from 2014 model year and were manufactured between January 10 and 17, 2014.
The problem that hinders the normal performance of the model is that an incorrect bolt might have been used in order to connect the intermediate shaft and the upper steering assembly. If this happens, the bolt may loosen and even fall off resulting in a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a collision and injuries.
Nissan owners will get notified about Nissan Rogue recall in June. Dealers will inspect all the affected vehicles and repair them, if necessary. It should be noted that all the repairs will be performed free of charge.Concerned owners can call Nissan at 800-647-7261 for more information about the recall.
