More than 19,000 vehicles are affected by Cadillac CTS recall.
Cadillac CTS recall

More than 19,000 vehicles are affected by Cadillac CTS recall. Though the vehicle is a new and an improved model, it has got certain problems with windshield wipers. Affected are model-year 2014 mid-size sedans.

The problem with the aforementioned vehicles is that if one leaves the wiper stalk in the “on” position and turns the car off and the wipers appear to be restricted by some object, the battery may run itself flat. As a result of this, the vehicle won’t work after the driver jump-starts it.

General Motors has not yet specified when the recall notification letters will be sent. However, all affected owners will get proper remedy. Dealers will replace the front wiper modules in order to prevent the problem from occurring.

This is the first recall for the third-generation Cadillac CTS mid-size sedan. It should be noted that GM now seems to be more accurate about recalls it is conducting.
