Nissan Juke recall affects nearly 104,439 vehicles from 2011-2013 model-years. Affected are Nissan Juke crossovers. The recall or, more concretely, the service campaign is being conducted due to a problem with the engine timing chain.
According to the automaker, in certain vehicles the timing chain may deteriorate and may distort over time. As a result of this, the chain may break resulting in injuries and even fatalities.
The automaker has started notifying the affected owners this month. Nissan dealers will replace the timing chain, chain guides and crank sprocket at no charge to the owners.
If you are a Nissan crossover owner, you can contact the automaker at 800-647-7261 for more information about Nissan Juke recall.
