The New Opel Vivaro

Practical and comfortable, versatile and elegant, the new Opel Vivaro is here to make its mark and win your admiration.

The new Opel Vivaro has arrived – more practical, more efficient and more attractive than ever before. Being the highest performing light passenger vehicle in Opel’s portfolio, we already knew the Vivaro was popular. Now, the second generation Vivaro seems poised to continue building on its success, with a fresher look, more space, improved technology, and exciting features.

"Today's customers require more from a light commercial vehicle than ever before," says Peter Christian Küspert, Opel Board Member and GME Vice President Sales & Aftersales. And we think the all-new Opel Vivaro delivers on those needs, combining comfort, design, and practical features.

A few of those features bear special mentioning, as they practically qualify the Vivaro as an office on wheels – a modern mobile workspace.

The state-of-the-art IntelliLink infotainment technology offers optimum onboard connectivity, and includes a 7-inch colour touchscreen, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, audio streaming and advanced navigation functions with maps that can be simply updated by USB download.

Further, a roomier cabin gives ample working space, the centre front seat can be quickly and easily transformed into a small desk to hold a laptop, and innovative storage space lets you stow away your belongings.

The new Vivaro also boasts some enhancements under the hood. There are two brand new turbo diesel engines, offering a choice of four output levels that ensure fast acceleration. The engine portfolio has a 1.6 CDTI with 66 kW/90 hp and 85 kW/115 hp, as well as a highly advanced 1.6 BiTurbo CDTI with sequential turbocharging and a twin-cooler system, giving 88 kW/120 hp and 103 kW/140 hp.

Excellent performance is combined with high fuel economy. The reduced fuel consumption is as low as 5.7 li/100 km, with CO2 emissions down to 149 g/km, giving Opel's new all-purpose van best-in-class economy. This isn’t just good news for the environment, it’s good news for your wallet as well. What’s more, a special 'eco' driving mode can be activated for even more fuel savings.

There are also equipment and safety features to brag about, such as automatic climate control, Keyless Open & Start system, a combined cruise control and speed limiter, and Park Pilot. There is also a host of other modern assistance systems, including ABS, iElectronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Hill Start Assistant (HSA), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Traction Control (TC) and Roll Over Mitigation.

The new Opel Vivaro continues its forerunner's successful concept of diverse variants, and is therefore available as a panel van, Combi, crew van or platform cab, as well as in various configurations including two body lengths and two roof heights.

Practical and comfortable, versatile and elegant, the new Opel Vivaro is here to make its mark and win your admiration.
