Mazda6 recall affects nearly 19,000 Mazda6 sedans from 2014 model year.
Mazda6 recall

Mazda6 recall affects nearly 19,000 Mazda6 sedans from 2014 model year. Affected vehicles were manufactured between October 25, 2012, and May 9, 2013 and equipped with 2.5-liter SkyActiv engines.

The problem with Mazda6 cars is that the engine may be vulnerable to overfilling. This means that excess gasoline may pass into the charcoal canister. This may result in fuel leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

The automaker has already started notifying owners of affected vehicles about model-year 2014 Mazda6 recall. Dealers will inspect the affected cars and add an adapter to the shut-off valve in the fuel tank. Besides, the charcoal canister will be replaced if it has already been partially filled with fuel. All the repairs will be made free of charge.
Concerned owners may call Mazda at 800-222-5500 for more information about the recall.
