Chrysler recall

Chrysler recall affects nearly 25,250 Sport Utility Vehicles form the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango brands. The problem is connected with the braking system. The affected vehicles are from 2012 and 2013 model years. Affected are 18,700 cars in the US, 825 in Canada, 530 in Mexico and other 5,200 outside North America.

The problem is that a component in the braking system of the affected vehicles is restricting the flow of brake fluid too much. However, there are no reports of drivers losing the braking power. Thus, the owners will receive notifications soon and will be provided with the necessary help regarding the recall.

Chrysler has not yet issued a schedule for fixing the problem, but the dealers will start repairing the vehicle soon. If you own a model that is under the recall, you can call Chrysler at 800-853-1403 for more information.
