Ram ProMaster recall affects more than 5,600 vehicles.
Ram ProMaster recall

Ram ProMaster recall affects nearly 5,664 vehicles in the United States. All the affected vehicles are of 2014 model year and were manufactured between July 1, 2013 and November 15, 2013. The recall is expected to start in March.

The automaker told the NHTSA that it is not aware of any crashes or injuries due to the problem. The problem with the affected vans is that the brake fluid may leak from a torn brake hose.

According to the National highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a tool may have damaged the brake hose during the manufacturing process of the vehicles. As a result, leakage may occur which may result in the lengthening of the stopping distances increasing the risk of a car accident.

The dealers will inspect the vehicles and repair them for free, if needed. If you have got a 2014 Ram ProMaster, contact your dealer as soon as possible. You can also call the manufacturer at 1-800-853-1403 for more information about the Ram ProMaster recall.
